Our Mission
Reach out, build up, and share the good news about Jesus
Our Vision
A church that is united in the passionate pursuit of the next generation
What We Believe
We believe that God has called us to glorify Him by sharing the good news of Jesus and connecting people to Him.

Cape Carteret Baptist Church started with four couples in 1977. They believed that God wanted a Baptist Church in this community. They began meeting at White Oak Elementary in the Cafeteria. The Church was about the people, not the place.
Our physical Church became possible with the generous donation from W.B. McLean and the support of four dedicated couples who built the church's first building in May of 1978. Since then, the church has expanded with multiple additions including a Children's wing, updated Traditional Chapel, and a Family Life Center.
In 2019 we recognized that we were not as effective at impacting our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we needed to be. We renewed commitment to fulfill our mission to Reach Out - Build Up - Share the Good News about Jesus. God was and is still calling us to be a Church that is united in the passionate pursuit of the next generation. We are where every generation is activated and engaged in reaching out to a generation that does not know the might and power of Jesus.
Psalm 71:18
So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.
